I am a retired CPA and CFP having survived 43 tax seasons. Whew! I am ready to pull my head out of the tax code and allow a creative side to emerge. I hope you will follow me as I embark on an encore career — as I try my hand at recording in word and photos the beauty in exploring the world. My trips have been varied and hopefully will continue to be. My husband and I enjoy glamping in our RV to indulging in luxury hotels; hiking in National Parks to cruising on a catamaran. I have traveled in the United States, in Italy and other foreign countries. I enjoy learning about and have begun collecting wines. And, of course, love sampling regional cuisines! I will write about our travels, share some images, and review the hotels and VRBO’s that we stay in.
I was born in Oklahoma, but after college moved to Breckenridge, CO, then Denver, CO, then Incline Village (Lake Tahoe), NV, then San Diego, CA, and finally, back to Oklahoma. I am an Oklahoma girl at heart and, therefore, can’t help but share places to enjoy in this beautiful state. It is a state with great lakes, hiking trails, oil baron mansions, museums, parks and, most of all, friendly and wonderful people. You might be surprised at what you will see and read!
